A Passion for Craftsmanship
After leaving the Air Force in 2005, Jared Hunt discovered his passion for carpentry and home construction. This newfound love laid the foundation for what would become H&H Builds.
The Journey Begins
Jared earned his contractor’s license and launched Jared Hunt Construction, building a reputation for integrity, attention to detail, and exceptional results in the Sacramento area.
A Family Partnership
Jared partnered with his brother Eric Hunt, rebranding as H&H Builds to reflect their family-oriented approach. Together, they expanded their services to include custom homes, additions and remodels.
Growth and Milestones
H&H Builds completed their first ground-up custom home and officially incorporated as a leading design-build firm. The team grew, and the business opened its first shop to support larger-scale projects.

Jared Hunt
Co-Owner
With a background in the Air Force and a lifelong passion for carpentry, Jared brings precision, integrity, and leadership to every project. He earned his contractor’s license in 2008 and quickly built a reputation for delivering exceptional projects with attention to every detail. Jared thrives on creative problem-solving and ensuring each client feels heard and valued. Outside of work, Jared spends time with his family, dogs, and enjoys outdoor adventures. His favorite motto? “Trust the process, and trust your team.”
Eric Hunt
Co-Owner
Eric’s love for building started early, but his proudest moment was partnering with his brother to co-found H&H Builds. Known for his relaxed yet motivated demeanor, Eric keeps operations running smoothly with a focus on clear communication and proactive solutions. If Eric were a construction tool, he’d be a tape measure—needed from start to finish. When he’s not working, Eric enjoys fishing, yardwork, and spending time with his wife, kids, and loyal dog, Layla. His best advice for homeowners? “Be ready for the ride and trust that you’re in good hands.”
Nick Cioffi
Operations Manager
Nick’s journey into construction began in 2011 with a love for tools and metalworking. Now, as H&H Builds’ operations manager, Nick is the bridge between clients and the build team, ensuring projects stay on track with precision and care. Known for his loyalty and attention to detail, Nick takes pride in turning ideas into reality. On weekends, you’ll find him exploring with his girlfriend and two boys or enjoying family adventures. His advice for homeowners? “Do your research, ask questions, and work with a team you trust.”
